Screen.brussels fund is the audio-visual economic funds for the Brussels-Capital Region.
We have an annual budget of 3 million € to invest in audiovisual productions. Feature film, tv serie, animated feature film, animated series, documentary, webserie and special format (VR, 360°, 180°…) are eligible.
Belgian producers can apply to receive up to 500,000 €*of refundable advances by way of economic support to cover their audiovisual expenses in the Brussels Capital Region. Foreign producers interested in applying for the screen.brussels fund can co-produce with a Belgian producer that satisfies all of the selection criteria.
The (co-)production must invest a minimum of 250,000 €** in the Brussels-Capital Region.
Our goal is to provide structuring effects on the Brussels-Capital region’s audiovisual industry that can benefit all European filmmakers.
*20,000 € for webs serie format
**75,000 € for documentary and animated series and 45,000 € for webserie format.
Cine-Regio representative - Mr Noël Magis
Noël Magis is Managing Director of screen.brussels fund. He studied journalism and communication at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and has been working as consultant for the former Brussel’s Capital-Region fund called Bruxellimage since 2010. Noël‘s background includes marketing and business development for audiovisual companies and communication agencies.
